Thank you for taking the time to visit this website. On it you will find all the information you will need regarding our country's greatest event, the Horn's Independence Day Extravaganza!

WOW! It's 2010! 2010 marks the beginning of a whole new decade for the Horn's Independence Day Extravaganza. I don't know about all of you, but I'm just as eager to blow stuff up this year as I was in 2000. So grab your lighter, punk, acetylene torch, and let's do this thing!

This annual celebration started in 2000 as a small get-together of friends and family. Since then, it has spawned into the best amateur 4th of July celebration in recent history. Each year the attendence may vary, but our guests have come to realize that nowhere else will they see such reverance paid to the nation, to the community, and to fireworks.

Yes, Fireworks! The Horn's Independence Day Extravaganza is proud to say that it hosts the most irresponsible, dangerous, and creative use of fireworks imaginable! So come on down and bring explosives!

What to Expect

Each year we have tried to improve ourselves through the attractions we provide. In 2002, a Karaoke machine was added. Oddly enough, we didn't have a lot of participation. Since then we have also started providing more beer. In 2003, the website was created. Hopefully, it is convincing you that this is a worthwhile event that superceeds any previous engagement. Here's a list of things to look forward to:

Fireworks Displays and Experiments (no guest has ever suffered more than minor burns or temporary blindness)
Good Food (indulge in all that rural Nebraska cuisine has to offer, be prepared for corn)
Karaoke (for anyone who doesn't mind humiliating themselves)
Patroitic Propaganda (you'll leave with an ultra radical loyalty to the good old USA)

This year, as with previous years, the Horn's Independence Day Extravaganza is dedicated to our men and women in uniform, who, as we speak, are risking their lives to uphold the freedoms and values shared by our country. Whatever your politics are, or whatever your opinions are of current U.S. foreign policy, it's still important to support our fighting forces overseas. As you celebrate Independence Day remember their sacrifices, along with those who have gone before them, to secure and defend our freedoms as Americans. If your lacking in that fine patriotic fervor here's a list of pro-USA songs that will help brainwash you back into the fold. Be patient, it may take a little while for the song to load.
