Independence Day 2000 Gallery

The Horn Homestead on the very first Independence Day Extravaganza. It was perfect day in North Platte, Nebraska, with no threat of rain to spoil our fireworks fun.

Here's an inspirational picture of the flag with the house as a backdrop. Soon this peaceful scene would turn into a battle ground and staging area for fireworks madness.

Andy Horn, David Fifield, Joe Fifield, and Jim Fifield concentrate very hard in aiming the lethal bottle rockets. If your not careful, those things can shoot right up your nose.
