Independence Day 2001 Gallery

By 2001, the word was out about the wild 4th of July Party in North Platte. People from all over swarmed to the scene. Well, maybe not swarmed, but there were a few more people. But, more importantly, careful saving throughout the year allowed for a much larger stockpile of fireworks.


Here we see some lazy partiers relaxing in the shade.
If I recall correctly, 2001 was a particularly warm year and you could only take so much direct sun light before bursting into flames.

The crowed was quickly dispersed by dozen of toxic smoke bombs.

The noise left more than a few people Shell Shocked.



We were all fascinated that fireworks could explode underwater.
This discovery opened up a whole new world of possibilities.

The team works diligently to blow up a plastic bottle.
If you think this sounds like a waste of time, then you obviously haven't tried to blow up a plastic bottle.

It takes skill, determination, and a mastery of the firework arts to successfully blow a hole in the side of plastic bottle.
