George Floyd protests 2020

Managed to make it out for a few marches. A lot of people who might have been sympathetic to the police had their minds changed by what they witnessed these weeks.
The night of May 29–30. I wasn't out when thing were happening this night, but I went out later to have a look around.
Cone soldier.
The cops' smash-up squads like these trucks kitted out with footrails.
The whitish smears on the ground are residue from pepper balls.
The DPD's rules on use of force say that pepper balls are not supposed to be aimed at the head.
Daytime assembly on May 30.
9-minute lie-down on Lincoln Street.
Daytime march down 16th street.
Just a couple suckers waiting for something to happpen.
Night of May 31–June 1. There was a curfew actually violently enforced this night. I went out to have a look around, but got scared and came back in.
Pepper ball scars at eye level. This was the morning after this happened.
June 2.
On this night there was supposed to be a curfew.
June 4.
Front of Colorado capitol building.
This was a long march, 90 minutes or more, on a route that I think was coordinated with the police to tire out protesters.
No traffic on Broadway.
Some unrelated(?) street closure, on the way home hours later.
Night of 2020-08-22, a lot of paramilitary-looking, non-uniformed men with guns staging in a parking lot.
The white truck was somehow involved with them; it had no insignia but a small American flag.
In front of police HQ.
Bunch of dumb fucks looking for someone to hurt.
News van.
