Berkeley march 2017

Big march against racism on August 27, 2017.
As many as three helicopters at once.
The Berkeley city council had passed an "emergency" ordinance, so there were checkpoints around Civic Center Park where police were searching people's bags.
Huge banner on Civic Center.
It's consistent with the First Amendment, it says so right there.
The zone of diminished privileges.
Plane trailing a banner, "CA WONT TOLERATE HATE! @COURAGE CAMPAIGN"
Dozens and dozens of police cars parked along Hearst.
Cops with cameras at the top of Old City Hall.
Another giant banner.
This banner says "BLACK LIVES MATTER! RESIST RACISM"
Cops on top of the high school overlooking the park.
The police went away and let everyone into the park.
Whoever was making these banners really had their act together.
Campus all barricaded off too.
